Two Advanced Kits for the STOL CH701!
The front and rear fuselage, as well as tail sections, are pre-assembled and mostly* pre-riveted; Doors, windshield and controls (including brakes) are provided but NOT installed;

The main wings have been jig-built with all spars, ribs and skins drilled and de-burred. Leading edge slats and flaperons are finished (one skin may be left un-riveted for final inspection). All slat and flaperon brackets are installed where necessary. Builder will fit and connect components.
Pre-assembled components (i.e. main wings) that are still held together with clecos in the standard JSK may be taken apart again for easy shipping, or may be kept assembled for pick-up (trailering) by customer (yet further accelerating home assembly).
* Note that the rudder is not included in the STOL CH 701 JSK. JSK customers should plan to attend a standard rudder workshop to complete this component for their aircraft.
Three regional Builder-Assistance centers now offer "Fast-Build" kits for the STOL CH701.
This Jump-Start Kit is optimized so that completion of the airframe will take approximately 250 hours. Customized builder-assistance may be arranged to complete the airframe (and beyond) under the builder/owner’s supervision. Engine (FWF), instruments, cabin-interior and paint are not included as part of the JSK.
The CH701 JSK is assembled from the same high-quality parts provided in the standard Zenith kit. The only difference is in the level of pre-fabrication.

Our West Coast Jump-Start Kit (JSK) for the STOL CH 701 is custom-prepared in California to provide advanced pre-assembly of the standard Zenith kit. This simplifies airframe construction and dramatically reduces assembly time for the owner/builder.
The STOL CH701 JSK is assembled from a standard Zenith Aircraft kit by Quality Sport Planes' experienced associates. Once your kit arrives in California, you will work closely with your "building partner" to ensure desired options are installed and the airframe is built up to the desired degree.
Delivery Schedule:
> Delivery of standard ZAC kit to QSP: Approximately six weeks
> Upgrade to JSK status (for basic airframe): ten weeks
Total time before delivery (or pick-up) of JSK: +/- four months from order date!
Price: $23,750 (includes crating and shipping of ZAC kit to QSP )
Note: Scheduling and price is for the basic airframe without options and/or modifications. Options and modifications will add to time and cost, sometimes significantly. Call for details!

Once cleco’ed together in jigs, sections (wings, slats, flaperons, tail, etc) can be taken apart again for easy transportation and final re-assembly by the builder, or they can be finished on-site as part of a customized builder-assistance program...
