The QSP Quick-Build Kit (QBK):

The front and rear fuselage, as well as tail sections, are pre-assembled and mostly* pre-riveted; Doors, windshield and controls (including brakes) are provided but NOT installed; Gears and wheels are!
The main wings have been jig-built with all spars, ribs and skins drilled and de-burred. Leading edge slats and flaperons are finished (one skin may be left un-riveted for final inspection). All slat and flaperon brackets are installed where necessary. Builder will fit and connect components.
*Note that the rudder is not pre-assembled in our STOL CH 701 QBK. QBK customers are encouraged to attend a standard rudder workshop to complete this component for their aircraft.
Ideal for builders who want to fly sooner, or for those who are considering builder-assistance from one of the many assistance centers across the US.
The QSP QBK is optimized so that completion of the airframe will take approximately 250 hours. If desired, customized builder-assistance may be arranged to complete the airframe (and beyond) under the builder/owner’s supervision. Engine (FWF), instruments, cabin-interior and paint are not included as part of the JSK.
The CH701 QBK is assembled from the same high-quality parts provided in the standard Zenith kit. The only difference is in the level of pre-fabrication.

Our STOL CH 701 Quick-Build Kit (QBK) is carefully assembled from a standard Zenith Aircraft airframe kit. We order the kit from the factory and have it delivered to our assembly facility at no extra cost. When ready, we can ship your QBK anywhere by container. Our QBK simplifies airframe construction and dramatically reduces assembly time for the owner/builder.
The STOL CH701 QBK is assembled from a standard Zenith Aircraft kit by Quality Sport Planes' experienced associates. Delivery times can vary significantly as we are a small shop with only modest resources. Completion of your aircraft will be much quicker with a quick-build kit, but order well in advance of your projected start date. Delivery dates typically take three to four months; call us for the estimated delivery date of our next available kit!
