What we call the "Big Foot" package for the STOL CH 701 is a unique collection of specialty parts developed and brought together for the first time in California specifically for the "Lizard Plane" in 2006. As this airplane was subsequently flown to air-shows and fly-ins throughout the west, its large tires quickly became a favorite attraction; when the same plane was featured on "Canyon Surfing" (Volume 1 of a DVD series produced by STOL-Adventures.com), other CH 701 owners everywhere began calling for more information on this special gear & wheel configuration.
Update: QSP originally planned to offer the Big Foot package as an all-inclusive kit for any 701 builder or pilot. For various reasons, we will not be doing so for the foresseable future (yes, liability issues played a role in this decision). Builders set on using the large tunda tires can still do so, but will have to acquire the parts from the various different vendors on their own... Please look at the following list closely and order just what you need from the suppliers listed. Note: The Big Foot Package is not a Zenith Aircraft Co. kit.
