My Experience with "Builder-Assistance"
When requesting Builder Assistance, QSP provides its customers a list of available local "Master Builders" (kit-builders who have successfully completed a number of aircraft projects previously) to chose from. The builder can then contract directly with the assistant(s) of his choice, for the amount of help desired.

PART 2
After ordering a Quick-Build Kit (which was to be delivered to Quality Sport Planes' facilities in Cloverdale, CA the first of December), I attended the two-day November rudder workshop in Cloverdale and got to meet and work with Ed and Erik, the two gentlemen who would later assist me in my project.
An unforeseen circumstance caused a delay in the arrival of my QBK, but with Michael's quick work and the factory's commitment, it was replaced by a "Super-Quick Build Kit": a more complete airframe that was originally intended for use as a certified Zodiac S-LSA. Someone up there was watching over me, knowing that I would rather be flying than building.
WOW, was I ever excited! The kit
turned out to be more complete than I had expected, even for the few thousand
bucks extra, i.e. the wings (minus the wing-lockers & landing light lens), tail feathers, empennage and fuselage (minus landing gear, steps, etc.) were all
mostly finished.
The kit arrived ahead of schedule on 11-28-06. Michael Heintz, Erik Peterson and Ed Dalbec uncrated, inventoried and laid out the many assemblies. I arrived on the scene two days later and we all went to work.
The facilities were adequate, all tools were provided and the professional capabilities were beyond reproach!
