For years, Roger and Nicholas have been attending the annual Copperstate Fly-in in Arizona. Every September, they prepare the Zenith factory demonstration aircraft for the long journey there and back. This year was no exception: Roger flew the faithful eight-year-old STOL CH 701 and Nicholas flew the newer Jabiru-powered Zodiac XL.

Michael, with QSP, joined Roger and Nicholas in Casa Grande for the fly-in, then accompanied Nicholas in the Zodiac for the flight back to Cloverdale. Once back, he coordinated the Open House, Grand opening events and the logistics for the Rudder Workshop. Nicholas was also kept busy flying demo flights every day while in California.
The above STOL CH 701, owned and flown by Ken Smalley, arrived at Copperstate by air for the airshow, proudly displaying Arizona colors. It is powered with the Rotax 912S.
